Dr. Skiffington earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of Missouri in '77 and his M.S. in psychology from the University of Georgia in '79. He completed a one-year clinical psychology internship at the University of Texas in '80. He earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Georgia in '82. He has 30 years of experience providing psychological services. Dr. Skiffington specializes in providing individual therapy and group therapy to adults. His theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral. Dr. Skiffington helps his clients by assisting them in making healthy changes in their thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and situations. Dr. Skiffington is thankful to each of the many thousands of clients he has had the honor and privilege to work with over the years because each one of them has taught him many things and has helped him become a better clinical psychologist and a better person.
